# Getting started as an investor

> Everything you need to set up before you request or redeem tokens.

As an investor, you can request tokens backed by real assets, hold them in your own wallet, and redeem them for the underlying asset. Set up these four things first.

**1. Create your account**

Sign up, register your passkey, and save your recovery phrase. See [Create an account](/get-started/create-an-account).

**2. Verify your identity**

Complete identity verification with Persona. You can't file requests until it's verified. See [Identity verification](/account/identity-verification).

**3. Register a wallet**

Add and verify the wallet that will receive your tokens. See [Wallets](/account/wallets).

**4. Add a delivery address (optional)**

If you plan to redeem commodity tokens for physical metal, add the address it should ship to. See [Delivery addresses](/account/delivery-addresses).

## Find a token

Open **Listed tokens** to see every token on the platform. Each token's page shows its issuer, custodian, supply, reserve, fees, terms, and documents. Read the token's terms and documents before you request it.

## Investing as an organization

If you invest on behalf of a company, request an organization and switch to it from the **Workspace** menu. Requests filed in the organization's workspace use the organization's verified business details and treasury wallets. See [Create an organization](/issuers/create-an-organization).

## Holding tokens

Your tokens live onchain in your own wallet. Your **Overview** shows your balances across your registered wallets and the latest disclosures from issuers.
