You need to verify your identity before you can file issuance or redemption requests. Identity and source-of-funds checks are handled by our verification partner, Persona.

Verify your identity

Open identity verification

Open the Profile menu and select Identity verification.

Start the check

Select Verify with Persona. Persona asks for a photo ID and a selfie, and usually takes a few minutes.

Wait for the result

When you finish, the page shows Your documents are submitted and updates by itself once the check is decided.
If you leave partway through, select Resume verification to pick up where you stopped.

Statuses

If Persona declines a verification, you’ll see Persona declined this verification. Select Start a new verification to try again, and make sure your ID is valid and the photos are clear.

Business verification

Organizations go through a separate business verification (KYB). See Create an organization.
Until your identity is verified, your name shows (Unverified) in the app, and request forms show Identity verification is required before filing a request.
