Universal Mint is built so that any change to a token can be explained later: who decided it, whether they signed it, when it took effect, and that it happened exactly once.

Every request is signed by you

When you submit a request, approve a proposal, or change a setting, you sign it on your own device with your passkey or wallet. Your sign-in session lets you view information, but it can’t make changes on its own. The platform can’t create a request in your name.

Approvals are part of the record

If an action needs more than one approval, each approval is its own signed decision. The record shows who approved, when, and which approval group they approved for.

Each change happens exactly once

Every accepted change takes one fixed position in a single, ordered history. If the same request is submitted twice, for example after a dropped connection, the platform returns the original result instead of acting again.

Nothing is edited after the fact

The history is append-only. Accepted changes are never edited or deleted. A correction is a new, signed decision that refers to the one it corrects, so both stay visible.

What you can check

For auditors

The full history is kept, so every balance, approval, and permission can be traced back to the signed decisions behind it. If you’re auditing an issuer on Universal Mint, contact support@universalmint.io.
